Summer Guard Camp Dates!
Please mark the following dates in your calendars...they are our summer camps, and they are
"semi-mandatory". If you already have conflicts in your scheduling such as vacations planned,
you are excused. If you have not scheduled anything, please save these dates and attend the camps:
June 14-17 (M-Th) 9am-1pm
July 12-15 (M-Th) 9am-1pm
(Placement in the fall show, and spots on weapon lines may be affected by attendance at summer
rehearsals, as we will be working on basics and technique...attendance would help!!)
These camps are very important; we want to keep the students spinning and dancing in order to
arrive at band camp ready to learn the 2010 production. We will be working on basics, working with
clinicians (Ryan Drakes will be in to work on weapon technique, and Courtney Mills will be getting
our bodies moving), and may even be learning some choreography for the marching band show!

Color Guard from this past weekend

First, I would like to send condolences to Alliyah and her
family at the loss of Alliyah's grandmother. May the peace of
the Lord be with you.
Second, I would like to congratulate Scott and the
kids on a very successful season. The kids have made
great strides this year and I am looking forward to
an even more successful year next year. Keep up the
great work.
I would like to extend my thanks to Antonio Miranda,
Cyndee Bohlman, Jack Smith and Liz Cuce for
volunteering their time yesterday to chaperone,
video and, creating beautiful flower arrangements
for the kids. I would also like to thank the floor
crew for all of their hard work yesterday. The floor
crew yesterday was Jenny Sung, Jill Starks, Emily
Jones, Jason Mamed, Dalton Johnson, Robert Tyson,
Caleb McClendon, David Cyr, Marissa Cuce, Allison
Hammer and Julie Eberhart. The next time you see
these people give them a pat on the back. They were
super busy yesterday!.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone who came out
to watch yesterday. Not only did we have the parents
there, all of the band directors came to cheer us
on, some of the band family was there and family
friends( some family friends that knew nothing about winterguard and enjoyed the show very much). I know the
kids were very excited to have everyone there.
I hope everyone has a super awesome week filled with
all the blessings you deserve,
Lisa
